Astrology has always been a means to an end for me, not something to learn for its own sake or kill time during a morning commute. I wanted to use astrology to help me arrive at a more meaningful, fulfilling life. And there was nothing out there that actually connected the dots between my chart, the astrology of the moment, and my lived experience.

Q: Do I need to know astrology to use this?
Not at all. Astro Bestie is designed for the full spectrum of astrology lovers, from people who've been studying astrology for years to people who know their sun sign and not much else. The app meets you where you are. If you're newer, you'll learn as you go. If you're more experienced, you'll go deeper than any other app has let you. Beta users at both ends of the spectrum have loved it.
Q: How is this different from Co-Star, The Pattern, or Chani?
Those apps give you content about astrology. Astro Bestie gives you a practice.
The difference is that everything in Astro Bestie is personalized to your actual chart and your actual transits, connected to your journal, your goals, and your history with the app. It remembers what you wrote the last time a transit was active. Q: Where does Astro Bestie get her knowledge?
Astro Bestie is built from my knowledge and expertise as a practicing Hellenistic astrologer. It uses traditional principles, whole-sign houses, planetary dignities, and real ephemeris data.
The app is not generating generic horoscope content. Every reading is computed from your actual chart and the transits active that day, using real ephemeris data, and tested against real charts. When you ask Astro Bestie a question, she answers from your chart, your transits and your journal entries.
Q: Is my data private?
Yes. Your data lives on a secure backend and is never sold, never shared, never used for advertising. What you write in your journal stays yours.
Q: Does this replace getting a reading from an astrologer?
No, and that's not really what Astro Bestie is going for.
A live reading with a skilled astrologer is irreplaceable. What Astro Bestie does is give you a daily practice between readings, so when you do sit with an astrologer, you already know your chart and you come with better questions. Think of it as the tool that makes you a more informed, more self-aware client.
